American Pile and Foundation designed a multi element support of excavation system for the expansion of the Life Science Center on the Rutgers Newark campus. The design had to be inclusive of the very limited equipment access and demanding vibratory restrictions to the adjacent buildings. American Pile and Foundation installed the system, complemented by tie back enhanced underpinning pits and drilled in soldier piles along the face of the buildings.
