Cross-hole Sonic Logging (CSL) is a test used to qualify concrete integrity within a drilled pier. The CSL test involved systematically moving ultrasonic probes through access tubes along the length of the shaft. A data processor records the passage of ultrasonic waves from the probes through the shaft concrete to profile the quality of the material placed.
