American Pile and Foundation was subcontracted to install 52 caissons, 50 to 54 feet deep with a 42” permanent casing extending 30 feet down and using a 36-inch segmental casing to drill full depth. Under separate contracts, American Pile and Foundation installed over 300 linear feet of sheet pile walls. All work was installed with low headroom rigs due to proximity to catenary wires and tracks. The project included 900 yards of concrete, 120 tons of reinforcing steel, and 571 LF of casing weld.
